3.5 THE STATIC MAC ENTRY
Only three local variables are accessible, the VLAN ID; the MAC address, and the port to associate with this entry. MAC addresses added via this mechanism are not saved after a reboot, and will not age.

3.5.1 Creating a Static MAC Entry
To create a new entry, proceed as follows:

4 | Set the establish variable to Create. |
|
|
If the VLAN ID is not valid or the entry already exists, the command will be aborted. If it does not exist, it will be added.
3.5.2 Deleting a Static MAC Entry
To delete an entry, proceed as follows:

If the entry already exists, it will be deleted. If it does not exist, the command will be aborted.
