PROGRAMMING

DATA CAPTURE

This feature allow user to store the data either internal memory of VSI-Pro Max or some external data storing device. Press the “Up” or “Down” button to move the cursor to “DATA CAPTURE” and press “Set”. The following sub-menu will appear:

CAPTURE TO PORT 1

CAPTURE TO MEMORY

DUMP MEMORY

EXIT

Press “Set” to return to the previous menu.

CAPTURE TO PORT 1

This feature redirect the incoming data to VSI-Pro Max to its output ( Pin 3 of AT type RS-232 female connector ) where that data can be stored to data storing devices (e.g. PC). This feature is useful to store non-RS 232 format data. Press the “Up” or “Down” button to move the cursor to “CAPTURE TO PORT 1 and press “Set”. The following display will appear (example only):

CAPTURE TO MEMORY

This feature allow you to store the data in the internal memory of VSI-Pro Max. You can store up to 20 kilobytes of data in the internal memory of VSI-Pro. Power up the VSI-Pro for 24 hours prior to download of data. This will provide VSI-Pro’s internal battery a full charge to hold data in its memory. Press the “Up” or “Down” button to move the cursor to “CAPTURE TO MEMORY” and press “Set”. The following display will appear (example only):
