Use the following commands to configure an interface as an IEEE 802.1q tunnel port:

Command	Purpose
Router(config)# interface IFNAME	Enter the interface name to access the interface
	configuration node.

Router(config-if-IFNAME)# switchport	This command will put the interface into IEEE
mode dot1q-tunnel	802.1q dot1q-tunnel access mode.
	Use the no form of this command to reset to the
	default of static-access mode.
Router(config-if-IFNAME)# switchport	This command will assign a VLAN ID specific to
access vlan vid	the particular customer.
	Use the no form of this command to reset the
	access VLAN to default VID 1.

Router(config-if-IFNAME)# end	Return to Enable node.
