Note: The device can support speeds up to 38.4Kbps. However, the software provided by NCR supports up to 19.2Kbps.

Pressing the Cancel key during this test returns the Host screen. Pressing Cancel again returns the Host RS232 Test screen.

Parity Selection

Select Parity from the HOST screen.

Parity

None

The default parity of “None” displays. The keypad Yes and No keys are used to scroll through the available options. The available parity options are:

•None

•Even

•Odd

When the desired option displays, press the Enter key to accept that parameter.

Select Data Bits from the HOST screen.
