Stylus Test

The stylus diagnostics allow you to sign on the display screen, checking that the digitizer and stylus are functioning properly. Select STYLUS TEST from the DIAGNOSTICS menu:

Immediately begin signing or writing on the display screen with the stylus. When the stylus is lifted from the screen for approximately 8 seconds, test is ended and the DIAGNOSTICS menu displays.

Pressing the Cancel key exits the session and starts the NCR 5992 application.

LCD Contrast

The LCD contrast diagnostics allow you to adjust the contrast on the screen. Select LCD CONTRAST from the DIAGNOSTICS menu:

YES=Lighter NO=Darker
