System password

The Diva 2430 provides a system password that restricts access to the web-based configuration and command line interfaces. This ensures that configuration changes can only be made by authorized personnel.

By default, no password is defined.

Setting a Password

1.From the main page, click ‘Security’.

2.Enter the password in the ‘Login Password’ and ‘Repeat Login Password’ fields.

3.Click ‘Save’. The changes take effect immediately.

Erasing the system password

To erase the system password, open the ‘Security Settings’ menu, delete the password in both password fields, then click ‘Save’. The next time you log in you will not need to enter a password.
