Disable Inbound Server Requests

This option drops all incoming server requests from the ADSL line addressed to a well-known port (less than 1024). This effectively blocks requests for the most common servers (such as HTTP, FTP, Telnet, etc.).

By default, this option is not checked.

Enabling this Option

1.From the main page, click ‘Security’.

2.Make sure ‘Disable Inbound Server Requests’ is checked.

3.Click ‘Save’. The changes take effect immediately.
