Macintosh (Mac OS 8 or later)
TCP/IP is installed by default with your Mac OS. If it is not in the Control Panels folder, reinstall it from your System Installation CD.
Procedure
1.From the Apple menu, select ‘Control Panels’.
2.Select ‘TCP/IP’.
3.Set ‘Connect via’ to ‘Ethernet’.
4.Set ‘Configure’ to ‘Using DHCP Server’.
5.Close the TCP/IP control panel.
6.Click ‘Yes’ to save the changes.
It is not necessary to restart your computer after making these changes.
