DVD SPEAKER MUTE Setting

1.Press [SETUP/MENU] repeatedly until the “MENU” screen appears on the TV screen.

2.Press [5] or [4] to select “TVGuardian SETUP”, then press [ENTER].

3.Press [4] or [5] to select “DVD SPEAKER MUTE”, then press [ENTER].

4.Press [5] or [4] to select the setting option, then press [ENTER].

CENTER:

If the TVG MODE is On mode, mute the sound of center speaker while DVD is playing.

ALL:

If the TVG MODE is On mode, mute the sound of all speakers while DVD is playing.

5.Press [SETUP/MENU] until the menu screen is cleared.

Note:

When shipped from factory, the DVD SPEAKER MUTE option is set to “CENTER” position.

CC(Closed Caption) DISPLAY Setting with TVG MODE is Set to ON Mode

1.Press [SETUP/MENU] repeatedly until the “MENU” screen appears on the TV screen.

Whenever Foul Language is detected, captions are displayed with a suitable replacement word substituted for the foul language, and audio is muted for the foul language.

CONTINUOUS:

You can see all captions, whether or not any foul language was detected. But like the ON MUTE mode, captions are displayed with a suitable replacement word substituted for the foul language, and audio is muted for the foul language.

OFF:

You cannot see captions. Whenever Foul language is detected, only audio is muted.

5. Press [SETUP/MENU] until the menu screen is cleared.

Notes:

•When playback starts, the TVG information may appear on the TV screen (TVG or NO TVG).

•Although the CC DISPLAY is set to “OFF”, the closed caption may appear on the TV screen according to a TV with closed caption capability.
