About The 5005 IP Phone

About Your Set

The Mitel Networks 5005 IP Phone is a fully-featured, digital telephone that connects directly to a 10/100BaseT Ethernet network.

The Mitel Networks 5005 IP phone is supported by the Mitel Networks 3100 Integrated Communications Platform (ICP) Release 3.0 and later software.

Note: The 5005 IP phone is not suitable for direct connection to ANY public telephone network. Connect the phone to a LAN that is attached to a Mitel-manufactured ICP system only.

The Mitel Networks 5005 IP phone has two fixed-function keys (HOLD and CANCEL) and twenty programmable keys with built-in status indicators along with a Volume Up/Down key and a standard numeric keypad.

Note: The three bottom-most programmable function keys will automatically be assigned the REDIAL, MESSAGE and TRANS/CONF features automatically and the top-left programmable function key will automatically be assigned as the primary LINE key. See About Call Handling for more details.
