3.4.3.Add-On Options

The Add-On is a group of 2 or 5 digits printed on the right hand size of a code which can be transmitted or not depending of the following settings:

ADD-ON NOT TRANSMITTED *

ADD-ON TRANSMITTED

If Add-On Transmitted is set, some conditions can be fixed:

ADD-ON MAY NOT BE PRESENT *

ADD-ON MUST BE PRESENT

If Add-On Must Be Present is selected, other conditions can be fixed:

On the type of Add-On accepted:

WITH 2 OR 5 CHARACTERS *

WITH 2 CHARACTERS ONLY

WITH 5 CHARACTERS ONLY

For specific applications with EAN 13 on magazines:

Code EAN 13 starting with the 3 digits 378 or 379 will be decoded only if the Add- On is available and correctly decoded.
