Using other useful functions

Turning off the on-screen display of input signal information

The function which displays the currently-selected input signal onto the screen can be turned off by the following procedure.

Setting procedure

1.Press the MENU button to display the MENU screen.

2.Press the “ ” and “ ” buttons to select “OPTION”.

3.Press the “<” and “>” buttons to display the OPTION screen.

4.Press the “ ” and ” ” buttons to select “INPUT DISP”.

5.Press the “<” and “>” buttons to select “OFF”.

If this is set to “ON”, the name of the input signal will be displayed on the screen when the input source is changed. (Factory pre-setting)

NOTE:

Press the MENU button to clear the setting screen and the MENU screen.

Disabling the POWER button of the remote control unit

The POWER button on the remote control unit can be disabled to prevent the chance of turning the power off by mistake when using the remote control unit. This setting can be made by following the procedure given below.

Setting procedure

1.Press the MENU button to display the MENU screen.

2.Press the “ ” and “ ” buttons to select “OPTION”.

3.Press the “<” and “>” buttons to display the OPTION screen.

4.Press the “ ” and “ ” buttons to select “REMOTE POWER”.

5.Press the “<” and “>” buttons to select “OFF”.

If this is set to “ON”, the POWER button on the remote control unit can be used to turn the power on and off. (Factory pre-setting)
