The horizontal starting buffer position does not move.

• The reference starting position is that specified by ESC T.

This command operates as follows, depending on the starting position of the printing area specified by ESC T:

When the starting position is set to the upper left or lower right, this command sets the absolute position in the vertical direction.

When the starting position is set to the upper right or lower left, this command sets the absolute position in the horizontal direction.

The horizontal and vertical motion unit are specified by GS P.

The GS P command can change the horizpntal and vertical motion unit.However, the value cannot be less than the minimum horizontal movement amount, and it must be in even units of the minimum horizontal movement amount.

[Description] Defines a downloaded bit image using the dots specified by x and y.

 

x indicates the number of dots in the horizontal direction.

 

y indicates the number of dots in the verticall direction.

 

The number of dots is x 8 in the horizontal direction and y 8 in

 

 

the vertical direction.

 

d indicates bit-image data. Set bit to 1 to print a dot and to 0 to not

 

 

print a dot.

[Notes]

If x y is outside of the specified range, the printer ignores this

 

 

command.

 

• A user-defined character and a downloaded bit image cannot be

 

 

defined simultaneously. When this command is executed, the

user-defined character is cleared.

• After a downloaded bit image is defined, it is available uutil ESC @ or ESC & is executed; the printer is reset; or the power is turned off.
