Expansion Cards

The system accommodates up to six expansion cards, including up to five 32-bit PCI expansion cards and one 32-bit AGP card. (See Figure 16 for examples of these cards.)

NOTES: Before disconnecting a peripheral from the system or removing a component from the system board, verify that the standby power LED on the system board is off. For the location of this LED, see Figures 19 and 20.

Expansion-Card Removal

To remove an expansion card, perform the following steps:

1.Remove the computer cover.

2.Remove the expansion-card cage.

3.If necessary, disconnect any cables connected to the card.

4.Unscrew the mounting bracket of the card you want to remove.
