5.2Field Bus Connection (Ch1 / Ch2)

Regardless of the type of BNA device, the wiring of the field bus connector is always identical.

For connecting the field bus, the 3 pole Phoenix connectors (included) are required.

Figure 5-1shows the pin layout of the field bus connectors Ch1 and Ch2. Pins 1 and 2 shall be used to connect the field bus.

5.3Bus Termination Switch

This section applies to BNA 2CS and BNA 1C devices only.

The Bus Termination Switch is used to select between different field bus terminations on DC coupled RS485 busses.
