The BNA provides two different types of connectors to bring the device online on the LAN. First is a RJ45 10BaseT connector and second is an AUI connector. This chapter describes the pin layout of each connector type and shows how the different cables need to be configured especially for the connection via 10BaseT (RJ45).
7.2.1RJ45 Connector
A lot of Ethernet local area networks are using 10BaseT twisted pair wiring. 10BaseT networks are physically laid out in a star topology, where each
