Power Management Setup Screen

The Power Management Setup screen is used to configure power management features.

Power Management Setup Screen

Heading

Description

ACPI Standby State

Enables the system to go into S1 or S3 standby state when

 

computer is inactive for a certain period of time.

 

 

Power Button Function

Power button configuration (on/off or sleep/wake) under APM-

 

enabled operating systems.

Restore On AC/Power Loss Power Off --System will remain off when power is restored to the system, whether or not system was on or off when power was lost.

 

Power On --System will boot to the operating system when

 

power is restored to the system, whether or not system was on

 

or off when power was lost.

 

 

 

Last State --System will boot to the operating system or remain

 

off when power is restored to the system, depending on the state

 

of the system when power was lost.

 

 

Resume On LAN Header

Enables/disables the system to be booted from another

 

networked computer via the Wake-on-LAN feature.

 

 

Resume on PME

PME (power management event) wakeup events

 

(enable/disable).

Support for Setup Utility options may vary depending on your specific hardware configuration.
