FMU Server Architecture

Single Server Support

FMU is included with each supported Windows-based Datalogic terminal. FMU Console can connect to a single server and configure individual termi- nals. You can create groups within that server and assign as many terminals as desired to those groups.

FMU provides the ability to drag configuration settings from one group to another, where they can then be modified independently from the original set- tings. Package files can be shared across groups (see “Available Packages” on page 17 for more information).

Terminals

Single Server

FMU does not limit the number of terminals associated to one server; however, a maximum of 35 - 50 terminals per server is recommended for optimum performance.
