4From the displayed list of network operating systems select the appropriate operating system for your environment and press [Enter].

5Follow the instructions on the subsequent screen to load the driver.

Updating NDIS Drivers

To update one of the following drivers, complete these steps.

DOS NDIS 2.01 driver

OS/2 NDIS 2.01 driver

Windows NT 3.5 driver

Windows for Workgroups NDIS 3 driver

1Follow steps 1 through 5 in the section “AutoLink Installation” earlier in this chapter.

2When the main menu screen shown in Figure 3-2 appears, select Network Drivers and press [Enter].

3When the Network Drivers screen appears, select NDIS Driver Installation and Information and press [Enter].

4When the NDIS Drivers screen appears, select Update NDIS Drivers and press [Enter].

5From the list of NDIS drivers, select the driver for the appropriate operating system and press [Enter].

6Follow the instructions displayed in the subsequent screens.

Auto Select Media Type

The Auto Select Media Type function is implemented by the drivers contained on the 3C59X EtherDisk diskette supplied with the 3C595-T4 PCI adapter.This includes NetWare ODI drivers and NDIS 2.01 drivers. It also includes NDIS 3.0 drivers for Windows for Workgroups, Windows® 95, and Windows NT. The NDIS drivers function with 486 and Pentium® processors.
