Turning On the Power

Note

Do not turn off the main power switch immediately after turning it on. Do- ing so may result in damage to the hard disk or memory or nozzle clogging due to dried head, leading to malfunctions.

 

 

When the message “Restart is required due to a functional er-

ror...” is displayed, follow the instructions and press [Restart] at the bot- tom right-hand corner of the screen after the process is completed.

If the “Temperature Alert” message appears, check the installation site. For details, see “Machine Environment”, Troubleshooting.

If you have inadvertently set “Set Date” to a date in the future, the machine may take longer than usual to start printing or to initialize after being switched on. If this is the case, do not switch the machine off; instead, wait about 10 minutes.

Turning On the Power

Turn on the power as follows:

A Press the Operation switch. The On indicator goes on.

If the power does not come on when the Operation switch is pressed, check the main power switch is on. If it is off, turn it on.
