High Speed Scanning

SP versions of the Aficio MP C6000 and MP C7500 are ready configured for colour scanning. Colour documents are scanned in superb 4-bit, 600dpi resolution at a speed of 60 images per minute. Black and white documents are scanned at a speed of 75 images per minute.

High Capacity Document Server

The machines boast a powerful 190GB document server. This space is reserved within the machines’ 2 160GB hard drives.. The document server can store up to 3000 documents or 15000 pages. Documents can be scanned directly to the server for shared access or received via fax, email or IP transfer.

LDAP Addressing

With LDAP support (Lightweight Directory Address Protocol), users select email and fax addresses directly from the company directory. Email and fax addresses are easily accessed from the control panel. One-touch opens the full directory. Addresses are selected from the directory or, if there are many addresses to choose from, searched alphanumerically.

Scan to Folder

Scanned document can also be routed to a network address. This might be a shared folder from where multiple users can access the same document or a personal folder where documents are stored for later access.

Scan to Email

Scan to email is a user-friendly document distribution solution. Hard copy documents can be scanned in full colour at high resolution and emailed directly to recipients.

Email addresses are easily selected from the MFP address book. Addresses can be entered at the control panel or selected

from the LDAP

maintained address book.

Scan to FTP

Documents may also be scanned to an FTP server from where they are easily shared between remote offices. Mixed operating system environments like LINUX, UNIX and MAC OS can browse the FTP server directly and access the scanned documents.

Scan to URL

To reduce network traffic, documents can be scanned into the document server and the document URL forwarded by email. Recipients can view the document stored in the server by
