Changing the angle

ANGLE

Some DVD discs may have “multi-angle” parts, in which multiple cameras were used to shoot the same scene from different angles. You can select one of these angles during playback.

1.Press ANGLE on the remote control unit.

Each time you press the button, the angle changes in numerical order.

The ANGLE function is effective only when the current playback scene is recorded from multiple angles.

Example: Selecting from three different angles

Initial setting:

 

Press ANGLE once:

 

Press it again:

 

Press it again:

If appears when pressing ANGLE:

The current scene is not recorded from multiple angles.

*You can also select the angle via the “ANGLE” in the on-screen display.

1.Press ON SCREEN during playback.

2.Move to “ANGLE” using / .

3.Change the angle number using / .

The current angle number and the total number of recorded angles are displayed in the box.

Subtitle on/off

SUB TITLIE

ON /OFF

You can select whether or not subtitles are displayed.

1.Press SUBTITLE ON/OFF on the remote control unit. The ON/OFF status is switched.

*Subtitles cannot be displayed unless a DVD includes subtitles.

*With some discs, subtitles are always displayed and SUBTITLE ON/OFF does not work.

Changing the subtitle language

You can choose the subtitle language from among the languages included on a disc during playback.

1.Press ON SCREEN during playback. The on-screen display appears.
