Installation

RS-232 Connection: Connect the Display Control output from the DHD Controller to the RS-232 IN input on the CX-70DHD. Use a cable with an RJ11 plug at the DHD Controller end and an RJ-45 plug at the CX-70DHD end. (The CX-70DHD accessory kit includes such a cable.)

If you make your own cable, it must be wired as shown in Figure 3-5.

Components to the DHD

HDMI Source Connections: See Figure 3-6.

Controller

 

Use the HDMI inputs whenever possible. This ensures the highest

Tip video quality because the signal is carried in the digital domain throughout the entire signal path, from source component output into the display.

You can also connect computers with DVI output to these inputs.

Note Refer to Supported Timings on page 70 for a list of compatible input signals.
