Displaying subpages

You can display several subpages as they are transmitted.

1Press m to display Teletext.

If you open a page containing subpages, the subpages are automatically displayed in sequence.

2To quit automatic subpage change, press /.

You can then manually change subpages by pressing /.

Note

Pressing w / x causes the page to be changed and the subpage screen to disappear.

Pressing stops automatic subpage change and performs its respective button function.

Displaying TOP Over View

When receiving TOP Teletext, you can read a TOP text overview.

Operating the Teletext basics for DTV

Note

When the current DTV programme contains Teletext information, you can display it on the screen by pressing m. In this case, the “TTX” is displayed in the banner (i-PLATE).

Turning Teletext on and off

1Select a digital TV channel providing a Teletext programme.

2Press m to display the Teletext.

3Press m again to turn the display off.

Selecting and operating Teletext pages

Use the following remote control buttons to select and operate Teletext pages.

Colour (RED/GREEN/YELLOW/BLUE):

You can select a group or block of pages displayed in the coloured brackets at the bottom of the screen by pressing the corresponding colour (RED/GREEN/YELLOW/BLUE) on the remote control unit.

0to 9:

Directly select any page from 100 to 899 using buttons 0 to 9.

w/x:

Press w to increase the page number.

Press x to decrease the page number.

k:

To display hidden information such as an answer to a quiz, press k.

• Press k again to hide the information.

:

To stop updating Teletext pages, press .

Press again to release the hold mode.

l:

Returns to the index page.

Note

Before displaying the Teletext, return to the single-screen mode.

Displaying subtitle pages

You can display several subtitles as they are transmitted.

1Press [ to display the subtitle.

Subtitle is updated by the information sent by the broadcasting station.

2Press [ again to access next available subtitle screen.
