Order Ahead pay per view. Movie purchases placed by calling a customer service representative rather than using the on-screen displays. Necessary to purchase movies when the subscriber does not connect the phone to the HDTV Digital Receiver.

On-screen display

A stored word a user must provide in order to perform a function.

Standard Definition

Credit card sized microcomputer capable of securely storing service authorization and system preferences such as pay per view lock. Also known as the CAM.
