You will be able to select 4 satellite port configurations - No Satellite, Auto Configuration, Satellite A, B or Satellite A, B, C. The DIRECTV Plus Satellite Antenna comes packaged with two LNB’s (Low Noise Block Down-converters) with a multiswitch. The two LNB’s allow for reception of Satellite A, B. These satellites are located at 101 degree WL and 119 degree WL. The DIRECTV Plus Satellite antenna is also capable of accommodating a third LNB for future programming choices. Therefore, if you plan to subscribe to DIRECTV services, including HDTV as well as local to local broadcast channels, you should select Satellite A, B during this setup. The multiswitch provided with the DIRECTV Plus satellite antenna enables you to connect 4 different HDTV Digital Receivers in your home. Please consult your dealer for more details. The HDTV Digital Receiver will allow you to begin auto-detection of the antenna configuration or instead use one of the 4 nominal cases.
