5.3 Preparing the remote control

Inserting the battery

The remote control requires a battery of the type CR2025/3V button cell (supplied):

1.Pull the battery compartment out of the remote control.

2.Now place the supplied battery, of the type CR2025 (button cell) in the battery compart- ment. Make sure that the battery is inserted in accordance with its correct polarity.

3.Slide the battery compartment back into the remote control.

Using the remote control

In order to guarantee faultless operation when using the remote control…

When using the remote control always point it di- rectly at the infrared sensor 4( on the front panel of the device.

Make sure that there are no obstructions between the remote control and the DVD player that will hinder reception

When using the remote control place yourself not

more than 5 metres from the DVD player otherwise interferences can occur during operation of the DVD player functions with the remote control.

6.Attaching the LCD monitor to a headrest

For attachment to the headrest use exclusively the supplied Velcro fastening strap and pad.

1.Remove the pad from the Velcro fastening strap.

2.Pull the Velcro fastening strap, with the Velcro side towards the rear, through the right retainer on the rear of the LCD monitor. Please do not pull the strap through the left retainer at this time.

3.Pull the open end of the strap through the pad. The unpaded side must be facing the device.

4.Finally, pull the strap through the left retainer. The plastic tab should now point to the right.
