13.5 Changing the playback language

Note:

This function may not be available on all DVDs/ VCDs/S-VCDs! If you attempt to carry out func-

tions that are not available the symbol will appear in the display.

With many films on DVD/VCD/S-VCD you can select another playback language, during play- back, by pressing the button AUDIO 2&.

With the first press of the AUDIO 2& button the first available playback language will be switched on. With each further press of the AUDIO 2& but-

ton other available playback languages will be switched on one after the other.

The currently switched on playback language will be superimposed on the television screen.

13.6 Programming function

You can programme a playback sequence for the titles and chapters that are available on the DVD, VCD, S-VCD disc.

For this, during playback, you press the button PRO- GRAMME 2# to superimpose the following window:

Programming window

The upper line shows the total number of titles (TT:) available on the disc.

Under this the programme positions 1-10 are listed, programme position 1 is highlighted.

1.Enter with the number buttons 2) the number of the title, which shall be played back first.

The upper line will now show the chapters available in this title (CH:).

2.Enter with the number buttons 2) the number of the chapter that shall be played back. The high- lighting moves to the programme position 2.

3.Select with the navigation buttons

3! o 1^ 1* further programme positions and

enter the title and chapter number for these programme positions.

• To show the next 10 programme positions select with the navigation buttons

1* the field and press the button ENTER 1&. You can allocate up to 20 programme positions.

To delete entries in a programme select the pro- gramme position and press the button ENTER 1&.

To cancel the programming function select the

field EXIT and press the button ENTER 1&. All allo- cated programme positions are deleted.

4.Start playback of the programme position by selecting the field START and pressing the but-

ton ENTER 1&.

During the programmed playback the notice PRO- GRAMME appears in the display.

The programme list will be deleted as soon as you press the STOP t button.
