17.Cleaning of the DVD player

Clean the housing of the DVD player exclusively with a soft damp cloth and a mild washing-up liquid. When cleaning make sure that no moisture gets into the DVD player!

If necessary, clean the inside of the disc tray ex- clusively with a clean dry brush (i.e.a lens brush, obtainable from a photographic dealer). Never use anything wet to clean the inside of the disc tray!

Warning!

Moisture penetrating into the DVD player creates the risk of an electric shock! Besides which, moisture can cause irreparable damage to the DVD player!

18. Disposal

Do not dispose of the appliance in your normal domestic waste.

Dispose of the appliance through an approved di- sposal centre or at your community waste facility.

Observe the currently valid regulations In case of doubt please contact your local waste disposal centre.

18.2 Disposing of batteries!

• Batteries should not be disposed of with house- hold waste. Every consumer is obliged by law to deposit all batteries at a collecting point of his community/his precinct or to return them to a shop.

This obligation is intended to ensure that batteries are disposed of in an environmentally safe fashion. Only dispose of batteries when they are fully discharged.
