Angle Mark

On some DVDs particular scenes are recorded from various viewing angles.

Select the input ON in order to switch to the next viewing angle by pressing the ANGLE 2% button during playback of the film.

To deactivate this function select the input OFF.

OSD Language

Here you set the language, in which the OSD Menu will be displayed on the television screen.

Closed Captions

You set this if by every playback of a DVD the subtitle (if present) is to be automatically displayed on the television screen.

For this purpose set the function to ON.

If you want to activate the subtitles manually set this function to OFF.

The subtitles can be set, during playback, with the SUBTITLE button 2^.

Screen Saver

In this menu you can activate or deactivate the screensaver. The screensaver protects the DVD players LCD screen or the picture tube of a connected television set from a displayed image burning onto the screen. To activate the screen saver set this function to ON. The screen saver will now switch on when the play- back is stopped and no activity takes place for several minutes.

To switch the screen saver off set the function to OFF.

In this menu you can set the image parameters of the output video signal and thus align with the play- back quality of the image on the connected picture screens.

Sharpness

Here you set the image sharpness to HIGH, MEDIUM or LOW.

Brightness

Set with the aid of the buttons 3! o the brightness.

• Subsequently press the button ENTER 1& to continue.

Contrast

Set with the aid of the buttons 3! o the contrast.

• Subsequently press the button ENTER 1& to continue.
