3D VIRTUAL SURROUND setting

This function allows you to enjoy a “surround sound” effect when you are using an analog connection (using AV 1 OUT on this product) to 2-channel audio equipment (TV, etc.).

•Set the “COMPRESSION” setting in “AUDIO” to “OFF” (see page 44).

VCR/DVD COMBINATION

•3D VIRTUAL SURROUND does not operate on Audio CDs.

•3D VIRTUAL SURROUND does not operate when you set the “COMPRESSION” setting in “AUDIO SETUP” to “ON”.

•3D VIRTUAL SURROUND does not operate when you are using a Digital connection.

•3D VIRTUAL SURROUND does not operate when you playback a disc recorded using DTS format.

5 Press ENTER to confirm the setting.

•You can exit the Function control screen by pressing RETURN or FUNCTION CONTROL.
