Playback

Switch the unit on.

PLAY/x1.3 Playback

!Press OPEN/CLOSE to open the disc tray.

!Place the disc in the disc tray.

!Press PLAY .

The disc tray is closed and playback begins. The reading of the disc may take some time!

RAM -R -RW(V) +R-RW(VR)

Playback begins with the last recorded title.

DVD-ADVD-V VCD CD

Playback begins at the beginning of the disc.

PAUSE PAUSE during playback

!Press PAUSE during the playback.

!Press PAUSE again to resume playback.

STOP Cancelling playback

RAM -R -RW(V) +R-RW(VR)

!Press STOP during the playback to watch TV via the unit's tuner.

DVD-ADVD-V VCD CD

!Press STOP during the playback. A Screen appears on TV.

!Press STOP again to watch TV via the unit's tuner.

Resuming playback

!Press STOP during the playback. The unit saves the position.

The position is deleted if you switch the unit off.

!Press PLAY to resume playback from the saved position.

!To cancel the function, press STOP several times.

A menu appears on the television screen

!VCD Use the numeric buttons to select an entry.

e.g.: number 5: 0 + 5 or number 15: 1 + 5

!DVD-ADVD-VUse or the numeric buttons to select an entry and confirm with ENTER. If appears on the television screen, this function is not possible at the moment.

The operation of the disc menu depends on the inserted disc. If you launch the main menu with TOP MENU, another menu may appear than when you press SUB MENU.

! Use the numeric buttons or to select the desired entry and confirm with ENTER.

Starting the playback from a selected Title, Chapter or Track.

!During playback, use the numeric buttons to select the desired entry.

DVD-A

While the screensaver is displayed, you can enter a group number.

This function is not available for some discs if playback is stopped.
