Automatic: The screen messages are displayed on the screen.

Grey Background

[On] [Off]

On: The grey background is displayed when there is no television reception.

FL Display

[Bright] [Dim]

Change the brightness of the unit display.

New Service Message

DVB only

 

[Automatic] [Off]

 

 

 

 

Automatic: New digital stations are constantly scanned in the background. A message is displayed if new stations were found and you can add them to you station list.

TV Aspect

 

[16:9] [4:3] [Letterbox]

 

 

Select the TV picture format of your television set.

Letterbox: Black bar appear at the top and bottom of your screen.

Progressive

[On] [Off] Only COMPONENT VIDEO OUT.

 

 

 

On: In COMPONENT VIDEO OUT mode, the signal is displayed in full picture quality.

TV System

[PAL] [NTSC]

PAL: You connect the unit to a PAL or multi-system television set.

Programmes that were recorded with NTSC are played back as PAL60.

NTSC: You connect the unit to an NTSC television set.

Programmes that were recorded with NTSC are played back as NTSC.

 

[Video ( with component )] [S Video (with component)]

AV1 Output

[RGB ( without component )]

Switch to RGB for an improved picture quality.

If RGB is set, no signal is available at COMPONENT VIDEO OUT.

AV2 Settings

Perform the settings in the following sub menus for the connected device.

AV2 Input

[RGB / Video] [RGB] [Video] [S Video]

RGB / Video: Is detected automatically.

RGB, Video, S Video: Input is switched to the selected signal.

Ext Link

[Ext Link 1] [Ext Link 2]

Ext Link 1: For digital receivers that send a special recording control signal, e.g. the F.U.N. receiver (TU-DSF41).

Ext Link 2: External recording control for satellites or digital receivers (video signal).
