!To continue programming, select [New Timer Programme].

!Press TIMER to switch the unit to TIMER standby mode. The symbol lights up in the unit display.

!To cancel or pause the recording, press TIMER again.

RAM If you record several programmes in a row, the first few seconds of the following programme are not recorded on the disc,

-R-RW(V) +R approx. 30 seconds.

Reminder

If you enter a TIMER programming and do not switch the recorder to TIMER standby because you want to watch a television programme, then you will be reminded of the pending start 1 minute before the recording starts.

!Press TIMER if you want to start the timer recording.

!Press RETURN if want to cancel the timer recording.

Even if you forget or don't want to press TIMER to switch to TIMER standby, the recorder will start recording.

You have to press RETURN for cancelling the timer recording.

!Press PROG/CHECK.

!Use to select the TIMER RECORDING.

Checking or changing

Check the settings or correct them if necessary using ENTER

and . Confirm your changes with ENTER.

Programmes that are currently being recorded cannot be changed.

Deleting

Delete a programme with CANCEL.

Programmes that are currently being recorded cannot be deleted.

If you selected PDC [ON], TIMER-controlled recordings are deleted from the list after two days.

Make sure that the unit is switched to TIMER standby mode.

The symbol lights up in the unit display.

Storage space on the disc

OK: There is enough storage space available on the disc for the recording.

If PDC is switched on during the recording, then the entire programme will probably not be recorded.

(Date): For recordings that are made daily or weekly, the display indicates whether there is enough storage space on the disc.

!: Is displayed if the disc is not in the unit, is write-protected or does not have enough storage space.
