How to Determine When You’ve Received Mail

Displaying Your Messages

Occasionally, your program providers will send messages to your Digital Satellite Receiver. These messages contain useful information about your system, such as information about new services, program promotions, or billing.

There are several ways to tell if you have unread mail:

qThe Digital Satellite Receiver front panel MESSAGE indicator lights up.

qAn envelope () appears in the Program Banner, accessed by pressing the DISPLAY button.

qAn envelope () appears in menu item 7 (Options Menu) of the Main Menu.

To display your messages:

1 Press the MENU button to bring up the Main Menu.

2 Select OPTIONS MENU.

3 Select MESSAGES.
