Setting Dolby Digital (SAT-A4 only)

Use the DOLBY DIGITAL button to select the default setting for receiving Dolby Digital sound. This setting determines the output from the DIGITAL OUT terminal only. The AUDIO out jacks do not output Dolby Digital signals.

Note

To enjoy Dolby Digital sound, you must connect your Digital Satellite Receiver to a Dolby Digital decoder or Dolby Digital A/V receiver.

To set Dolby Digital:

1 Select DOLBY DIGITAL from the Set Audio screen.

2 Select the Dolby Digital option you want.

Select “OFF” if you do not have a Dolby Digital decoder or Dolby Digital A/V receiver.

Select “AUTO SELECT” to allow Dolby Digital signals to be output to your Dolby Digital decoder or Dolby Digital receiver when those signals are available.
