5Parental Setting

Parental setting prevents your children from viewing inappropriate materials (password protected). Playback will stop if the ratings exceed the levels you set.

To set the parental level

1In stop mode, press [SETUP] to display “TV SETUP”.

2Use [Cursor K/L] to select “DVD SETUP”, then press [ENTER].

4Use [the Number buttons] to enter the 4-digit number for your password, then press [ENTER].

•If you have set password already, use

[the Number buttons] to enter the current 4-digit password.

•You cannot use the default password (4737) to play back a DVD.

5Use [Cursor K/L] to select “PARENTAL LEVEL“, then press [ENTER].

	children can be played back.
1 [KID SAFE] : only DVD intended for children can be
	played back.			WATCHINGTV
7 Press [SETUP] to exit.
To change the password				OPTIONAL
1 Repeat steps 1 to 4 in “To set the parental level”. Use
[Cursor K/L] to select “PASSWORD CHANGE“, then				SETTING
press [ENTER].

Note:
• DVD-video may not respond to parental lock settings. Make				INFORMATION
sure this function works with your DVD-video.
• Record the password in case you forget it.
• If you forget the password, press [4], [7], [3], [7], then enter
your new password. Password will be cleared and parental
levels will be set to “ALL”.
• A power failure will not erase your password.
