1.2. THE RECEIVER REAR PANEL

The rear panel gives you various connections to connect the audio and video equipment as well as a terrestrial and dish antennas. Depending on the installation setup, you may not use all connectors, but they are provided for any desired setup in future.

The available connectors on the rear panel are:

for the connection of the left audio input channel of a stereo set;

The AUDIO R connector (RCA),

for the connection of the right audio input channel of a stereo set;

The ANT IN connector (IEC),

for the connection of an terrestrial TV antenna;

The TV OUT connector (IEC), for the connection to the antenna connector of a TV or a VCR;

The SERIAL PORT connector (sub-D), for the connection to the serial communication port of a PC;

The USB connector (slave USB),

for the connection to an operational USB port of a PC;

The 0/12V connector (RCA),

for the connection of a remote switch;

The FERRITE + connector (spring-clip), for the connection to the + terminal of a magnetic polarotor (Ferrite);

The FERRITE - connector (spring-clip), for the connection to the - terminal of a magnetic polarotor (Ferrite);

The M1 connector (spring-clip),

for the line 1 connection of a motor or actuator (for motorized/actuated dishes);

The M.PULSE connector (spring-clip), for the connection of the feedback sensor (for motorized/actuated dishes);

for the connection of the power terminal of a polarotor;

for the connection of the ground terminal of the feedback sensor and the polarotor;
