Section 4 Familiarization

2.2.2.FIXED DISH SETUP

This sub menu allows you to customize the system setup to add an additional fixed dish into your motorized configuration. Note that the menu page is dynamic which means that it changes with the selections you make. You can customize:

LNBs

To set the amount of LNBs you have installed.

Polarity

To set the device that controls the signal polarity.

Switch

To set the switch type which you use to control the dish installation.

LNB1

To set the LNB type(s) you use.

Satellite

To set the satellite you want to scan for the LNB.

Check Signal

To confirm the selections you made and advance to the Check Signal page.

2.2.3.PROGRAM SATELLITES

This sub menu allows you to customize the system setup to add an additional satellite into your receiver. Note that the menu page is dynamic which means that it changes with the selections you make. You can customize and view:

Satellite

To set the satellite you want to scan for the LNB.

Search mode

To set a specific search mode (All, FTA, IF, TP, network or update).

Longitude

To view the satellite location on the Clarke Belt.

Transponder

To select a transponder of the selected satellite.

Skew

To adjust the Horizontal/Vertical setting (only for polarotor).

Location

To move the dish for best signal level and quality.

Satellite offset

To compensate for a dish offset caused by ambient

conditions.

NOTE

The satellite offset will affect all satellite positions, this means that all scanned positions will change which might result in total loss of signal for all satellites.

Search Channels

To confirm the selections you made and advance to the Search Channels page.
