Receiver operation

The following screen display appears:

In this menu you can set the date and time and also turn on a continuous time dis- play on the screen.

The bottom menu line shows keys you can use to make the settings.

Making the settings

Select the menu line using the keys.

The active menu entry is indicated by means of a flashing cursor (>).

Change the setting for continuous time display (ON/OFF) using the keys.

For entry of date and time use the numeric keys ....

Always enter the date and time with 2-figure entries, thus 05.05.98 for the date and 07:05 for the hours and minutes (not 5.5. or 7:05).

Invalid entries or incorrect values are not accepted and are ignored.

Saving settings and starting the clock

After entering the time press the key in order to start the clock.

Return to receive mode

Press the key to return to receive mode.

or

Press the key to continue with the timer programming.

Timer setting

The unit is in normal mode (TV or radio mode).

Press the key twice to call up the menu for the timer settings. The following screen display appears:

In this menu you can make timer settings in order to start the receiver for record- ings via a VCR.
