CALCULATION OF SAT IF FREQUENCY USING THE MSK 125

This is done as follows:

IF = reception frequency - oscillation frequency

The oscillation frequency is made up as follows:

9750 MHz oscillator frequency is used for a reception frequency between 10700 MHz and 11700 MHz. 10600 MHz is used for a reception frequency between 11700 MHz and 12750 MHz.

Hence the values for ARD - Das Erste are:

IF = reception frequency - oscillation frequency

IF = 11836 MHz - 10600 MHz

IF = 1236 MHz
