Advanced playback (DVD)

Repeat playback / Random playback

You can play a specific title, chapter, track, or segment repeatedly.

And also you can play titles, chapters within a title, or tracks in random order.

1	Press PLAY MODE.	2	Press PLAY.
1	Each time you press the PLAY	2		The DVD/VCR starts repeat playback

Chapter Repeat		Repeats the current chapter.

Title Repeat		Repeats the current title.
Track Repeat		Repeats the current track.


All Repeat		Repeats the entire disc.

Chapter Random Plays the chapters within the current title in random order.

Title Random		Plays the titles in random order.

Track Random		Plays the tracks in random order.


Off		Resumes normal playback.

To resume normal playback

Press CANCEL.

Notes:

•If you press the PLAY MODE button during playback, the DVD/VCR automatically starts repeat playback and random playback after finishing the current title, chapter or track.

•Some discs may not permit repeat operation.

•You cannot use the random playback function in conjunction with the memory playback function.

VCDCD Repeating a specific segment

1 Press A-B RPT at the beginning of the segment (point A) you want to play repeatedly.

A–

2 Press A-B RPT again at the end of the segment (point B).

The DVD video player automatically returns to point A and starts repeat playback of the selected segment (A-B).

To resume normal playback

Press CANCEL.

Notes:

•Some discs may not permit A-B repeat operation.

•You cannot set the A-B repeat function for a segment that includes multiple camera angles 50 .

•You can specify a segment only within the current title or track (VIDEO CD).

•There may be a slight difference between point A and the location where playback actually resumes depending on the disc.
