Usethe compatibleremoteto changethe remotesetting backto VCR1 .Displaythe PREFERENCESmenu,press1, and then pressVCRon the VCR'sremote.

Auto Plav

Thisfeatureallowsthe VCRto automaticallystartplaying when you inserta tapewith the safetytab removed .In the PREFERENCESmenu,press2 to switchbetweenON or OFF.

Auto TVIVCR

This featurecontrolswhetherthe TV^/CRswitch changes automaticallyto the VCRmode .Press3 to switchbetween ON and OFF .

. SelectON if you want the VCRto switchto the VCR mode when the VCRis turnedon or a cassetteis inserted.This only applies if you connect the ANT.lN and OUT TO TVjacks of your VCRto your TV and watch your VCRon channel 3 or 4 of your TV.

. SelectOFFif you want the VCRto remainin the TV mode.This is usefulif you watch your VCRon the TV's video input and you don'twant your antenna/cable signal interruptedby the VCR.Referto the Connections section .toward the backof the manual .

Auto Play

For a tape to be able to start playing automatically,it must have the safety tab removed.All rented movies and purchasedmovies should have this tab removed.

Auto TV/VCR

PressingTV.VCRwill still switch between the VCRand TV mode.

VCR mode: VCRindicator in the display panel lights.

TV mode: VCRindicatorturns off.
