Playing a Tape

1 . Tunethe TV to your VCRviewingchannel(3,4, or TV's video input -see "How to FindYourTV'sVideoInput Channel"in the Referencessectionof this manualfor more aboutthe video line input) .

2 . Inserta tape in the VCR .

lf the Auto Playfeatureis set to ON, the tape automaticallybeginsplayback(if the safetytab on the cassetteis removed).

PressFWDon the VCR(FORWARDon remote)or REV on the VCR(REVERSEon remote)to positionthe tape .

PressPLAYPAUSE(if necessary)on the VCR(PLAYon remote)to begintape play .

PressPLAYPAUSE(PAUSEon remote)for stop action.

PressTRACKINGup or down to removeany streaks from the picture,if necessary.

PressSTOP.EJECTon VCR(STOPon remote)to stop playback.

Pause

lf you pause,the VCRautomatically switches from pause to stop after a few minutes to reducetape wear.

AutomaticTracking

The VCR has automatic tracking which adjuststhe picture when playing back a tape recordedon another VCR.Automatic tracking is turned on whenever a tape is inserted or the VCR'spower is turned on,
