TV SPEAKER

OFF

The TV SPEAKER option turns the television’s internal speakers on or off. The television comes from the facto- ry with the internal speakers turned on. If you connect your television to a home stereo system, use this option to turn the TV’s speakers off. To turn the speakers off press 2 or 3to highlight OFF. Press to enter your selection. If you later disconnect from the home stereo, use this option to turn the TV’s speakers back on.

Before you turn the TV SPEAKER setting from OFF to ON, make sure that the TV volume is set very low! If the TV volume is set too high when the speakers are turned on, the sound level may be extremely loud and could damage the speakers.

The TV SPEAKER option can not be operated from the menu screen when DOLBY PRO LOGIC is selected on the SOUND MODE menu.

Note: When using external speakers, make sure you shut off the television’s speakers by using the TV SPEAKER option shown above.
