Use the 5 and° arrows in the sound mode menu to select Dolby Pro Logic. Press the 3arrow to display the Dolby Pro Logic second menu.

Use the 2or 3arrows to set the MODE to NORMAL.

When the MODE is set to NORMAL, the internal speakers are used as the center sound speakers. When using the following options, the TV SPEAKERS are set to CENTER.

In order to test the balance of sound coming from each speaker, use the 5 and° arrows to select the TEST MODE. Use the 3arrow to turn the TEST MODE ON.

A test sound signal is output from each speaker. Use the 5 and° arrows to select the option (LEFT, CEN- TER, RIGHT or SURROUND) you want to adjust and use the 2and 3arrows to adjust the volume of each speaker.

Sit where you normally watch television and adjust the sound so that the balance of sound from each speaker is as you want it to be.

When you have finished testing the balance of sound coming from each speaker, use the 5 and° arrows to select the TEST MODE and use the 3arrow to turn the TEST MODE OFF.

Note: When using 4 speakers (2 front speakers and 2 surround speakers) in the NORMAL mode to enjoy Dolby Surround sound, you may feel that there is a difference in the sound quality from the front L/R speakers and the internal speakers. In cases such as this, where the sound quality in not as you would like, changing the SOUND MODE to PHANTOM and turning the TV SPEAKER function OFF will solve the problem.
