VCR

Follow the steps below to program your DVD/VCR to record TV programs while you’re away from home. Before you begin:

● Set up the TV channels at the DVD/VCR. Details are on page 24. ● Set the clock. If the clock is not set, CLOCK MUST BE SET will appear on the TV screen briefly after you select PROGRAM, fol-

lowed by the VCR menu. Follow the directions on page 27 to set the VCR’s clock.

● Put a tape in the cassette compartment of the DVD/VCR. Make

sure the tape’s record tab is intact and the tape is long enough
to record the program(s).		1
● Press OUTPUT SELECT so the green VIDEO light appears on
the front of the DVD/VCR.
● Press VCR/TV so the green VCR/TV light appears on the front
of the DVD/VCR.
Do each step within 60 seconds of the previous step.		2,3

●ONCE: The DVD/VCR will record a TV program on any day you choose, up to 12 months away.

●DAILY: The DVD/VCR will record the same channel every day from Monday to Friday – starting at the same time and recording for the same length of time.

●WEEKLY: The DVD/VCR will record the same channel on the same day, at the same time, and for the same length of time every week.

•To make a correction while pro- gramming a timer recording, press CLEAR until the cursor is flashing on the item you want to change. Then enter the correct information.
