AUDIO CD

Before you begin, place the DVD/VCR in DVD mode. Press OUTPUT SELECT so the red DVD light appears on the front of the DVD/VCR.

During playback, press DVD, then press FF g (B)

 

or REW h (s) on the remote control.

 

During DVD playback, pressing FF g (B) or REW h

 

 

(s) repeatedly will forward or reverse the picture at

twice, eight times, 30 times, or 60 times the normal play-

 

back speed.

 

An h x2, h x8, h x30, or h x60 will appear

briefly on the TV screen to indicate reverse searching. Or, gx2, gx8, gx30, or g x60 will appear briefly on the TV screen to indicate fast forward searching. Sound will be muted during searching.

During Audio CD playback, you may search forward or backward only at 16 times the normal playback speed. An hx16 or gx16 will appear briefly on the TV screen. Pressing FF g (B) or REW h (s) repeatedly will not affect the speed of the search. Sound will be inter- mittent during searching on an Audio CD.

Use FF g (B) for a forward search. Press REW h (s) for a reverse search.

Example: Playing a DVD in reverse at twice the normal playing speed.
