60 Programmed Playback

AUDIO CD

You may determine the order in which Tracks will play.The order that you set is called the Program.To set up programmed playback, follow these steps.

Before you begin, place the DVD/VCR in DVD mode.

Press OUTPUT SELECT so the red DVD light appears on the front of the DVD/VCR.

 

While playback is stopped, press DVD, then press

 

1 MODE. The PROGRAM screen will appear.

Press the Number buttons to enter the number of

 

the first Track that you want to play.

 

If you enter a wrong Track number, press CLEAR.The last

 

Track in the Program will be removed.

Enter single-digit Tracks with a single Number button. For

 

example, for Track three, press the Number 3 button.

 

 

For Tracks 10 and above, press the +10 button, then the

 

 

Number button for the first digit, then the Number but-

 

 

ton for the second digit. For example, to play Track 26,

 

 

press the +10 button, then press the Number 2 button,

 

 

then press the Number 6 button.

3 Repeat step 2 until you have entered all the Tracks you wish to play in the Program. The total playing time of the Program appears beside TIME at the top of the PRO- GRAM screen.

4 Press PLAY B (o). The Tracks will play in the order in which you programmed them.The Program will play once.

Helpful Hints

You can not combine specific track or random playback with pro- grammed playback.

You may play a Program repeatedly. During programmed playback, press REPEAT so REPEAT [TRACK] or REPEAT [ALL] appears.The current Track or the entire Program will play repeatedly.

To see which Tracks you stored in the Program, press MODE during playback.

Track numbers that are not avail- able on the Audio CD will be reject- ed and erased. Enter a valid Track number.

Turning off the DVD/VCR or open- ing the disc tray will erase the Program.
