Helpful Hint

With ShowGuard, the VCR keeps your timer recordings, even if the power fails. However, the time and other menu settings may be lost if the power fails for more than three min- utes. When the power is restored, the following will occur:

The VCR will automatically restore the time setting if you are using AUTO CLOCK. Auto will flash on the display panel. When the time setting is restored, the current time will appear on the display panel.

After the time setting is restored, each timer recording you have set will occur as programmed, unless the recording was to occur during the power outage.
